Our beautifully furnished gite is on the first floor of a converted tobacco drying barn and as such has original beams and a butter skimmed rendered finish. With two bedrooms, one large double with super king size bed and one twin, it is suitable for four people, or with a ‘put you up bed’, five people. If you wish to holiday with extended family or friends, then there are also two double bedrooms available in the main house (please see Chambre d’hote page). Please note these rooms are only available to those booking the gite thereby ensuring you have sole use of the facilities for you and your party. A large open-plan living area with well equipped kitchen and cosy wood burner means this charming gite can be enjoyed all year round. As the only gite on the property, guests enjoy sole use of the extensive facilities to be enjoyed at Les Pignons, such as a bbq on the fire pit next to the lake, a round of golf, uninterrupted sunbathing by the pool or for those inclined, a full workout in the gym!

The gite has its own front door and entrance hall leading up to a large comfortable lounge area with two sofas, tv (English), DVD player with selection of dvds, and a small bar area with complimentary wine. This is open planned with a dining area with table and chairs and kitchen area complete with cooker, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and all necessary crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. A fully equipped picnic bag is provided for days out or for picnics by the lake. There is a large bathroom with shower shared by those staying in the two spacious bedrooms. All linen and towels are provided, including swimming towels. Outside is a patio area with seating, an outdoor dining area with gas bbq and wood fired pizza oven and open views to the rest of the extensive garden and countryside. For those staying a week or more a generous welcome pack is provided including home made cake, jam and bread, fresh eggs from our chickens, wine, tea and coffee.
